The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine can consider the issue on resignation of the government only during the next session.
This was stressed by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak when answering journalists’ questions after the Conciliatory Council meeting.
“In order to speak about this, it is necessary to have the draft resolution on distrust of the government. As of now, there is no such resolution in the Verkhovna Rada,” said Volodymyr Rybak. According to him, “when it appears and there will be 150 signatures, when the deputies will submit a proposal, then I will have to forward all documents to all the committees,” which will consider the bill and introduce respective suggestions.
According to Volodymyr Rybak, the Parliament will be able to consider the issue on distrust of the government only during the next session.
Answering questions regarding the possibility of staff turnover in the government, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada said that it will happen and reminded that these issues are within the competence of the President.
Volodymyr Rybak said that today President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych analyses work of every member of the government and he did not exclude that reformatting of the Cabinet of Ministers will happen, which the President can announce in the nearest future.
